Buffalo River Trail – Boxley to Steel Creek Campground
I’ve day-hiked parts of the BRT in the past but this was my first backpacking trip there. Accompanied by a couple other Sierra Clubbers, we hiked from the Boxley trail head to the Steel Creek Campground (mile 0 to 12.6).
Autumn ’13 trail building on the Buffalo River
One way to ensure you catch the fall colors at their peak is to just spend the whole darn “peak week” out in the woods. I did just that with another week hiking and building trail along the Buffalo River.
