I spent about 4 hours today cutting back small trees along a hiking/biking trail.  It was pretty grassy so I’ll have to return and cut that – the first opportunity to use my new trimmer.  Several acres in one area are being smothered by an invasive olive tree that’s similar in its effects to the hated honeysuckle.  I don’t yet know what to do about that.

I worked up quite an appetite so I went to Jess & Jim’s for a cheeseburger.  Many people say it’s the best in KC.  I’d have a hard time deciding on one best but it’s definitely in the top 5, and the french fries are very good too.  Some of the other great KC burgers are made with McGonigle’s meat but Jess & Jim’s grinds their own every day.  My top 5 KC cheeseburgers, in no particular order:
