OHTA work day

I had the privilege today of working with 3 other members of the Ozark Highlands Trail Association to clear the trail from Indian Creek to the Lick Branch trail head.  It was in pretty good shape with only 3 trees down on the trail and very minor brush.

OHTA work day.2013-10-13.001This section of the trail includes the Marinoni Scenic Area.  There was a bit of water flowing in Briar Branch but not enough to be photogenic.  Indian Creek and Herrods Creek were  dry, which is apparently pretty typical this time of year.
