The Long Pool Recreation Area is about 20 miles north of Russellville on the banks of Big Piney Creek, and just 3/4 mile east of the campground is 44′ Long Pool Falls.

There is an old road about 100′ up the hill from camp site 9 (in loop B) that goes past the water tower and down hill to a small creek.  Look to the right and there’s the waterfall.  You’ll see the small waterfall first but 100 yards further upstream is the bigger one.

We’re expecting rain this weekend so that should put some life back into the area waterfalls.
