The Glory Hole is in the Dismal Creek Special Interest Area (AR 21/16 between Fallsville and Edwards Junction), though there are no signs to tell you that or anything else.  There are guidebooks that can supply the details.  The trail is only about 2 miles round-trip but the return is uphill almost all the way.

Dismal Creek flows down the hill…and disappears right into the Glory Hole……and emerges in the cave underneath:During high water there is probably additional flow over the edge.  A broader shot:The area below the falls is a jumble of  big boulders and probably deserves exploration, though I didn’t this time.

There is limited parking here alongside the road and a lot of people seem to know about this place.  Even if you are able to park you may return to find yourself boxed-in and waiting for several other parties to return from their hike and move their cars before you can leave.
